The Study Of Farmer Cooperative Organizations' Governance Structure In China

Farmer cooperative organizations have arisen quietly in rural areas in China since 1980s and have been developing quickly, played an important role in agriculture economical development. However the developments of agriculture cooperative organizations are still restricted by many kinds of factors, especially governance structure. So it is urgent for us to give further discusses on the farmer cooperative organizations' governance structure through investigation and study.Generally speaking, the theory of governance structure is suit for the company, and then is used broadly to other organizations. Based on this, introduction, the first chapter of this paper will briefly expound the related theories about company governance structure, analyze several kinds of research models and then begin to discuss the theories of farmer cooperative organizations' governance structure, which mainly analyze related characteristics. The second chapters of this paper analyze this kind of special governance structure from the perspective of ability and relationship; explore the affecting factors on the realizations of controlling rights. All of vote, voice, and exit and ownership structure, external environment have different characteristics and usefulness, compared with general company governance structure. The third chapters of this paper analyze the relationship among knowledge, power and farmer cooperative organizations' governance structure. The fourth chapter of this paper focuses on analysis of informal systems which affect the development of farmer cooperative organizations, and afford an explanation model about cooperative acknowledgement. The last chapter of this paper gives an empirical analysis on farmer cooperative organizations of China. Combined with specific cases, the internal characteristic of governance structure about peasant-lead cooperative organizations, firm-lead cooperative organizations, related organization-lead organizations will be analyzed, and author's views are stated then.
