Compensation management is an important part in human resources management. How to handle the relationship between the self-accumulation of business profits and distribution of business profits among employees, and how to distribute salary among employees in an objective, impartial, equitable, and reasonable way, which will give the incentive function of compensation to its full play and arouse the enthusiasm of employees, thereby, attract, retain and exploit talents, have been essential factors for the existence and development of enterprises.Based on a review of the theory of compensation management, the thesis demonstrates the roles of scientific compensation system in JH Salt Logistics Company, by taking the design of Broadband Compensation in this company as an example.The thesis consists of four chapters.Chapter One briefly reviews theories of compensation and Broadband Compensation, which include the definitions of compensation and Broadband Compensation, the function of compensation in enterprises and employees, the principles of design of compensation, the general process of design of compensation, the features and functions of Broadband Compensation, and the design steps of Broadband-based compensation system.Chapter Two analyzes the problems of previous compensation system in JH Salt Logistics Company. This chapter firstly introduces the development plan, employees composition, and organizational framework of this company, and then points out the problems of previous compensation system in this company, using the relevant theories introduced in Chapter One, and also discusses the negative effects on the company and its employees.Chapter Three discusses the design process of Broadband Compensation and establishment of compensation system of JH Salt Logistics Company. This chapter also has a detailed discussion of position analysis, evaluation of position value, evaluation of ability to hold position, compensation level, composition of compensation, appraisal of performance related pay, etc. Fianally this chapter has a detaialed explanation of the design of the evaluation system of achievement salary with reference to the classification of job positions.Chapter Four discusses the supporting measures of these measures of Broadband Compensation of JH Salt Logistics Company and concludes expected effects of these measures, i.e. a kind of Broadband Compensation fairly and resonably designed and effectively applicable to the enterprise can solve the problems of inner justice in the enterprise, outer competiton and the employees' promotion ,and ignite the activity and creativity of employees, which forcely puts enterprise strategies into practice.
