Study On The Evaluation Of Logistics Capability Of Enterprises

Logistics capability is a comprehensive indicator to reflect enterprises'logistics state. Strengthening enterprises'logistic capability evaluation system research and exploring the methods and means to evaluate logistics capability help enterprises to fully tap their potential, enhance their competitiveness and improve management level as well as provide support for the decision-making. However, Chinese enterprises lack of a scientific and rational evaluation index system and method for logistics capability building and it was difficult to accurately measure the operating performance of the logistics business. Therefore, it has a practical significance to design a set of scientific, complete and operational index system and evaluation methods in order to assess enterprises'logistics capability all-round and multi-angle.This paper has three parts to study the construction and evaluation of enterprises'logistics capability evaluation index system. First, the paper introduces the research background, reviews research situation of domestic and international logistics capability and point out the lack of research and the significance of this paper. And then theories related to enterprises'logistics capability are carried on and the meaning, characteristics and influence factors of enterprises'logistics capability are analyzed in a deep-going way. Secondly, according to the principle of building index system and based on a large number of literatures, an initial logistics capability evaluation index system is constructed from six areas: quality, cost, flexibility, time, information and innovation. Through the design of logistics capability evaluation indicators'importance questionnaire, statistical analysis of the questionnaire is made with the use of SPSS13.0 software in order to select and recovery the initial index set. In determining the index weight, this paper uses combination method based on the improved AHP and entropy to distribute weight of indicators and eventually builds a complete enterprises'logistics capability evaluation index system. Finally, from a quantitative point of view, an empirical analysis of the enterprises logistics capability evaluation index system of this study is given with the evidence of Shanghai Tobacco (Group) Corporation using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. And the evaluation results reflect better the logistics operation status. Thereby, the science, rationality and operability, as well as feasibility of evaluation index system are verified.
