The introduction of the this paper firstly focused on the significa nce of the topicselected, and then summa rily described existing releva nt literature to establish theknowledge foundation of in this article。Finally, this article seeks to achieve theinnovation on which scrutiny by readers is welcomed. In this paper, the issue of copyright protection is relatively detailed in the firstsection。First of all expla ined the purpose of copyright protection, which is why theprotection of copyright exists; then discusse d the level of copyright protection whichshould be appropriate. However, the degree is difficult to grasp, thus the formation ofcopyright protection paradox. The protection of copyright stems from the existence of piracy which is analysedfrom the root of the piracy problem. First of all, from the microscopic point of view, the motives of pirates, especia lly for the purpose of profit, are. Presented. A piracyalways involves more than one parties beside pirates, such as copyright owners, consumers and government, therefore the second half of this section presented partiesother than the pirates. The entire process of piracy is in fact a multi-party gamingprocess. The end suggested that the piracy is impossible to be completely stopped andstrengthening copyright protection does not have the feasibility, which implied onceagain that the protection of copyright should be moderate, while the "degree" of the"moderate"here has the mea ning of reducing protection. The third section is the core and the clima x of this article . Following the secondsection's conclusion , the non-feasibility should be followed by lightening the copyrightprotection, which is explicit now. Through three arguments in this section this opinionis dicussed . First of all, the reference of Monetary Multiplier and Money Creationhelped support the intent of this article. Then through monopoly's unscientific naturebeing applica ted to copyright protection's unscientific nature we think that theprotection of copyright can form a copyright monopoly, which is also unscientific. Finally, the "d iscount" concept is applie ds to the copyright protection term to show thatthe longer the copyright protection term, the more value the entire society will lose, because new knowledge and ideas together with the existing knowledge and thought will create more new ideas and new knowledge. Through this section's discussion wethink that the higher the copyright protection level, the greater the opportunity cost. After showing the author's basic point of view, the fourth section looks in detailinto the internationa l community's point of view on the copyright protection term. From the historica l process of the internationa l copyright protection, we can find thatcountries are gradua lly prolonging the copyright protection term even following andsurpassing each other to prolong. At the end we said that the UNESCO's suggestive 25years protection term as well as Rufus Pollock's 15 years protection term calculatedthrough a model are below almost all countries'protection term, and are apprecia ted bythe author. The fifth section presented policy suggestions derived from this paper, ma inlyconsidering two aspects: the copyright protection term and the conditions of ourcountry. On the copyright protection term, this paper argues that the current term ofprotection in our country is too long and it should be cut. China is a developing country, and in order to catch up with developed countries, we should speed up thedissemination of knowledge and creativity. According to opinions in this article, thisneeds to rela x the protection of copyright, and we can consider the copyright protectionterm is set to be equal to the author's life while, copyright inherition, should not bepromoted. At the same time, we should educate people to waive copyright. Our countryis a large country with scarce resources, and the current scarcity of resources is alsofaced by the world. Scarcity of resources dema nds that we should strive to improve theefficient use of resources and to create more efficient products with certain, even, less, resources, which further requires us to speed up the dissemination of knowledge and torela x the protection of copyright.
