The Influence Of Internet Development On Copyright Trade

As a component of intellectual property rights,a basic resource of culture,an important embodiment of innovation and a pillar industry of the national economy,copyright plays a significant role in accelerating the construction of a new development pattern and in building an innovative country,a cultural power and an intellectual property power.At the same time,as an important indicator of national comprehensive strength,copyright is the core element of participating in international competition.It is of great significance to strengthen international exchange and cooperation on copyright,actively promote the establishment of a balanced and effective international copyright system,and speed up the promotion of China’s international influence and discourse power.This paper systematically combs the development status of China’s copyright trade,summarizes the current problems of copyright trade in the Internet environment,combs the existing domestic and foreign research results on related topics,analyzes and sorts out the research frontiers of copyright trade,and summarizes the literature gaps.Based on the panel data of copyright trade between China and major trading partner countries(regions),from the angle of trade cost theory,externality,long tail effect,scale economy theory,etc.,this paper describes the influencing factors of China’s copyright trade,designs and tests the econometric model.By controlling the bilateral economic scale,geographical distance,language environment and other variables,it focuses on analyzing the impact of bilateral Internet development on China’s copyright trade.The results show that the Internet development level in China has a significant negative impact on China’s copyright export trade,while it has an inverted U-shaped impact on China’s copyright import as a whole.The Internet development level in the trade target countries has a significant inverted U-shaped nonlinear impact on China’s copyright import and export trade.This means that in the current Internet information age,the supporting and promoting role of China’s Internet information technology on copyright export trade has not been fully played,the governance of the network environment needs to be strengthened,the copyright protection system needs to be improved,and there is still large room for improvement in Internet utilization and governance.Finally,based on the previous research on the development status and influencing factors of China’s copyright trade,this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to optimize the development path of China’s copyright trade.
