| Money Laundering is a financial crime, which is attacked by every country all over the world nowadays. Not only does it damage the stabilization of the district financial system and disturb the order of the financial market, but it also provides capital for the predicate crime directly. It will become the crucial channel that provides the other predicate crimes with capital. It will eventually form a vicious circle and influence the development of district financial market. Moreover, the bank and the financial industry may be encumbered by it and thus leads to integrity crash or even close down. Money Laundering can certainly generate more serious problem ultimately.By liberalising gaming ownership, Macau's gaming industry has been developing at such a tremendous pace that it attracts multitudinous foreign investment pouring into this small city. Therefore, the speed of casino and facility buildup is beyond anyone's expectation. Under a chain reaction circumstances, the gam ing-related businesses are flourishing. They become the powerful stimulus of Macao economy and financial development. According to the Macao Basic law, Macao doesn't implement the exchange control policy and ensure the capital liberalization. However, as the fast development of the free and diverse gaming industry, it helps to open a convenient door for money laundering. Fortunately, there have been few cases of it in Macao so far. , Only by implementing the monitor and control of the capital flow and the infrastructure must be established from law to the anti money laundering scheme entirely can we free Macao from the corruption caused by money Laundering.There are two parts in this thesis, the former one will analyze the cause and the effect of money laundering on the development of economy and finance. Use the game-tree to analyze the game between the parties of money laundering and the anti money laundering. The latter one will mainly focus on the current situation of Macao anti money laundering. I will aim to demonstrate the implementation of anti money laundering. Finally, I hope that I can contribute my limited power to Macao anti money laundering research by writing this master thesis. |
