Two elements or three management system coexist; they have the same common and operate under a united management framework, such called "Integrated Management System".Especially, an integrated system is constituted with IS09000, ISO14000 and OHSAS 18000.Based on the comprehensive analysis of ISO 9000 quality management system, ISO 14000 environment management system and OHSAS 18000 occupational safety & health management system, this paper investigates the methods and ways to establish a management system with quality, environment and occupational safety & health integrated, by employing the ISO 9001:2000 as main structure for Chongqing Polycomp International Corporation (CPIC). In details, the emergence of the three management systems is firstly introduced. Then the advantages of the integration are explained. Focused on the current situation of application of the three management systems in CPIC, the way to build up and apply the integrated management system is discussed. The integration of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 systems is investigated in theory. The considerations and steps of the integration are explained in details which include the types, contents and format requirements of documents within the integrated system. The compatibility and requirements of management Manu and procedure handbook in the integrated system are proposed. How to set targets and criteria, and how to carry out internal audit, management audit and third party approval are also proposed. Solutions for the problems CPIC encountered before in applying the systems are discussed.The purpose of this paper is to propose explanations and suggestions on the integration of the management systems in order to offer contributions for CPIC to integrate the three systems in the future. The proposal is based on the current standard and management system of CPIC and is wished to help the integration of the three systems to have sustainability, conformity, necessity and validity in practice.
