Research On JIT Supply Method In Benteler CAPP

JIT supply is an important means to realize the JIT production, which can considerably improve the level of effectiveness of the production management. Today, the science and technology are developing rapidly in the world, domestic enterprise have to meet challenges of innovating the system, elevating the efficiency, and enhancing the competence in the market, especially after china entering the WTO. Improving the management level so as to sharpen the competitive edges is no time to delay for Chinese enterprises.The application of JIT supply is very important to the suppliers of automotive parts in order to guarantee the JIT production of automotive factory. The thesis starts from analysis of the Kanban supply applied in general, and puts forward through theory and practice that Kanan mode can not realize the real zero inventory and the real zero inventory can be realized only through JIT supply. The thesis analyzes the JIT supply principle and puts forward to adopt JIT supply according to requirement. It argues that the customer (automotive factory) requirement of JIT supply can be met and zero inventory can be really realized only through the application of JIT supply. JIT supply is the best way to bring the greatest benefit.The thesis takes the Benteler CAPP automotive system company as object of research in the design of the JIT supply mode and analyzes the main defects of former supply mode of Benteler CAPP,a) stock information can not be got in time, b) the stock information is not correct,c) the usage status of scraps and qualified material is not clear, d) too much work of material planning and material requirement calculation, e) many version management of BOM data and too much maintenance work., f) material requirement is unable to be estimated according to the forecast of production. With the rapid growth of company business in the short time, the weakness the information management restricts the company further development and leads to many problems. They are a) raw material often in shortage and can't supply on time, b) stock material can not match in set and leads to excess and obsolete, c) long production lead time of finished goods leads to low labor efficiency, e) cash flow is slow and low turnover rate f) the rapid change and growth of customer's demand makes operation management and plan hard to follow.Kanban management and synchronous management are combined in the new JIT supply mode of Benteler CAPP. The new JIT system includes Kanan management subsystem and synchronous management subsystem. Kanan management subsystem concept includes transfer sequence of Banban information, fixed quantity stock management and fixed date stock management, Kanban stock quantity calculation and the application of Kanban. Synchronous management concept includes information share platform, the select of suppliers, definition of JIT suppler parts, delivery time calculation of JIT, racks and transport planning and emergency concept.Hereby, the author addresses the influence and effect after JIT supply system implement at Benteler CAPP, a) improve greatly the accuracy of operation data of the enterprise through the application of JIT supply and make the enterprise realize advanced production management and operation form step by step, b) reduce a lot of logistic cost because of the reduction of stock and storage area. c) drop remarkably production cost.,d) enhance customer service level,e) present a reference for the implement of JIT supply.
