In the 21st century, managers are increasingly aware that the human resources is very important for an enterprise to participate in the competition and gain a sustainable development. In all the factors influencing the employs' enthusiasm, initiative and creativity, the pay system plays a primary role.Harbin KO Beverage Company Limited (hereinafter referred to KO company) is a branch company of a world top 500 enterprise in China, for further development and competition, it launched the reform of pay system in 2006.This dissertation takes the pay system reform as a case to introduce and evaluation. The fist part of the paper is the case introduction, in which the pay system history and the problems of the KO's pay system are put forward. After that, the three principles of pay system designing are introduced, which are impartiality principle, competition principle and inspirit principle. Then, the paper introduces the whole course of the reform. The second part of this paper is case analysis and evaluation. In this part, the paper firstly evaluates the whole process of the pay system reform, thinking the system is scientific and in line with modern developing trends, then, the paper analysis the KO company's new pay system based on the three principles of designing the pay system, then, the effectiveness of the reform is revealed on the before and after reform's comparison. Finally based on the evaluation of the whole process, the proposal for the company's improving is put out.
