Research On The Strategic Restructuring Of Shijiazhuang Netcom

Shijiazhuang Netcom, based on the renamed Shijiazhuang Telecommunication Bureau, comes from the separation between political power from the enterprises, and from the result of reform. It is a telecommunication enterprise which mainly focuses on basic telecommunication services such as: telephone, smart phone, data communication, international services and rent of equipment, and the service products such as appreciation telecommunication services, etc. Over the past years, Shijiazhuang Netcom experienced great difficulties, because of systematic reforms on telecommunication, national reforms on industrial policies, changes in telecommunication and rapid development of telecommunication technology.This thesis firstly reviews the history Shijiazhuang Netcom, then through analysis of present state of telecommunication industry in China, it carries out research on its development tendency, its strength and weakness, and opportunities and threats as well. The conclusion can be drawn through the above analysis that the only way for Shijiazhuang Netcom to get a further development, is to undergo the strategic restructuring.
