After China entering WTO, the trend of economy globalization & competition internationalization speeds up, the boundary between international & domestic market is getting faded steadily. The trend becomes necessary to provide standard logistics service by the 3rd party logistics company in order to meet the need that the customer will participate the competition in the international market. Standard operational procedure includes goods'receipt, goods'delivery, distribution, transportation and customer feedback etc. The 3rd party logistics company is required with higher level and more service by the customer; they shall provide not only tailor-made service, also relevant in time service to meet the customer's JIT production.Firstly, the author introduces the concept of modern logistics, domestic Logistics development trend, Logistics enterprises'business model, and considering the business environment and current management of company A, the author analyzed the shortcomings existed in A Company, e.g. Bad organizational function, high stock level, low working efficiency in warehouse operation and so on.After that, the author optimized the Logistics operation through modern Logistics management method. After organizational optimization, the function of new organization gets strengthened; the labor waste will be reduced after business procedure improvement; the highest and lowest stock is set up by using ABC analysis, so that the dead stock can be avoided; warehouse site is rearranged with shelf to replace the old stocking way so as to upgrade the space utilization ratio; the working efficiency in warehouse operation is improved by installing barcode management system in warehouse.It's aimed to improve the core competency and improve enterprise profit and consistency development of A Company by doing above optimization research in business operation.
