DaQing Refinery and Chemical Company lube oil factory produces top grade lube oil and wax. It has furfural refining, acetone-benzene dewaxing, isodewaxing, paraffin hydrogenation and paraffin moulding five sets plants. But it is unsteadiness, which loses the enterprise benefit to a certain extent and affects its market share, so that affects the enterprise's competitiveness. Six Sigma management is a systemic operation improvement method which aims to sustainable process improvement and achievement of customer's satisfaction. It goes through systemic and integrative process improvement to achieve the defect-free process design and does DMAIC (define, measure, analysis, improve, control) with the existent process to eliminate defect and non-value task, finally improves quality and service, cuts down cost, builds up enterprise competitiveness.The article using Six Sigma manage analyzes the unstable situation of pure grade wax oiliness in acetone-benzene plant. Six Sigma organization structure is set up and the Six Sigma members are offered. In the meantime, training for Six Sigma knowledge and concept are also involved. This thesis uses the Six Sigma breakthrough tools to lead DMAIC improve action. Process capacity index and sigma value are used in measuring the achievement for today and the future. From the analytical process, we could find out the key control factors which affect the product by keeping the material and solvent stable and keeping sets well. Meanwhile, DOE (Design of Experiment) optimization and analysis of variance methods are employed in the action. With all the above methods being made, top grade lube oil and wax are stabilization and eligibility, the quality of the product is distinctly improved.
