A Study Of Product Quality Improvement Approach For Molex Co., Ltd.

Quality management is the manufacturing enterprise survival and the development foundation, and the product quality affects both enterprise's reputation and end user's experience and safety. The product quality improvement plays very important role in establishing the enterprise's brand, lowering quality cost, and grabbing the market share etc.Through analysis of the Molex's quality system status, combining present theory development and practice of quality management, this thesis has discussed the problems existed in the Molex's quality system, among which weak consciousness of quality management is most fundamental difficulty for enterpriser to improve product quality; and unreasonable design in manufacturing and full artificial quality control are key factors to unstability of product quality; non full use of the quality data and little attention for customer quality complains are the major obstacle to improve product quality, while these problems has been existing in main problems of general manufacturing enterprise. In which way to solve the quality problems effectively has become the important task of enterprise's quality management. According to Molex's own peculiarity, this article has proposed establishing enterprise quality culture, strengthening staff's quality sense, optimizing process design, taking foolproof application, introducing quality improvement tools to effectively monitor production process and implement total quality management, building up excellent supply quality control system and other strategies to improve the enterprise product quality.By studying Molex's quality improvement methods, it has provided reference and lesson for a general manufacturing enterprise to improve its product quality level.
