Peasant's Modernity And Its Influence Factors In Developed Area

According to the development history of human society, two changes have the most far-reaching influence: Firstly, human society enters civilization period since barbarous one; Secondly, our society is striding forward to modern society from traditional one, which is being gone through by us now. In these historical changes, the modernization drive of various countries is very noticeable; scholars also have their own definition. With the research of modernization, people begin to realize the subject status of human-being, personal modernity begins to be paid attention to.Each country has its own conditions, so scholars' research is regional. Regarding peasant's group in developed area as object, we get data through questionnaire investigation and interview. We explore the influence factors of peasant's modernity through investigating its current situation. The conclusion is:1.Among the peasants in developed area, a lot of them have stronger concept of plan and time ,independent consciousness and sense of participation. Most peasants have a stronger self-efficiency sense in their own affairs, but lack of it in the national affairs. Many of them have active attitude to new technology and changes, but they are conservative in attempting new methods. Local peasants have certain support to two-sexes equally, but the popularity still remains to be improved. In all, peasants in developed area have stronger modernity.2.Peasants with high schooling who have flowing experience and keep touch of mass media behave more modernly. Education degree, touch of masses media, flowing and city experience is the main influence factors of peasant's modernity.In order to make peasants realize modernization, we should try to offer and create effective route. Firstly, for the teenagers who are at early socialized stage, we should try to improve compulsory education, and then let teenagers obtain modernity through education. Secondly, for the adult peasants, we should develop vocational education in countryside. And let them realize self-perfection under the systematized education and training. Then they will have more opportunities in flowing and having city experience. At the same time, we can draw support from masses' media to make peasants touch the modernized idea, advanced scientific knowledge and technological method in order to promote their modernity.
