In 1984, Michael set up D company in his dormitory. D company got huge success by the direct selling model and supply chain management system. In 2005, D company became No 1 PC Company in the world. And so, the direct selling model becomes the best way to meet the customer's requirement.The direct selling is a kind of modern marketing method. It comes from the direct mailing. The direct selling model wants to cut down the middle levels in the marketing channel. And then save the cost and shipping time.As a well-known successful business enterprise in the world, the experience and inspiration which D company brings people of this world can't be neglected. It's unique selling model of "according to must dispose, the straight line order", the supply chain management way of advanced highly effective "information substitutes stock" as well as the development spirit seeks from the innovation, and all have been the lessons to quite a few business enterprises to be drawn.This article is divided for five parts:The first part is an introduction part, mainly composes from four aspects, introduced separately this article studies background and research basis, research significance, research content and research method.The second part introduces the marketing channel theory and direct selling theory.The third part analyzes the different selling models in the PC industry of China.The fourth part is the analysis of market environment that the direct selling model faces to D company. The comprehensive analysis includes the superiority and the inferiority and the existence question.The fifth part is the analysis of existence question in direct selling model carries on in D company, and proposes the solution.
