With the adoption of reform and opening-up policy, the Chinese economy stepped into a new era of development. Industrialization in the urban area has been generating increasing demand for labor force, which makes more and more rural labor force began migrating to cities. However, as magnitude of immigration is increasing as a result of deepening of urbanization and industrialization, the gaps between rural immigration in different regions became larger and larger, and this tendency is still going on. How to stop the tendency is a question which we should pay much attention to.The passage first elaborates the status in quo of employment of rural labor force and the necessity of migration. And then expatiate on the discrepancy incomes between different regions, and gives the reason about how this happened. The model of labor force migration researched the affection of migration to the discrepancy of farmers' income from the way how they make the decisions. At last the passage validates the model by using data of main cities with many migratory and counties around them. The passage comes to a conclusion: among the reasons which attribute to the discrepancy of farmers' income, the difference in migration is the most important factor. To narrow the gap of income, we must elimination the difference of migration. The author thinks the following measures can be done to attain this aim: develop cities in middle and west region; improve the terms of transport; improve the quality of migrant workers; relax and the phasing out of the household registration system.
