The Research On Supplier Selection Under Supply Chain

Under supply chain management, individual firm no longer competes as an independent entity, but rather as an integral part of supply chain linkage. In the construction of the supply chain, supplier selection and evaluation is the most important linkage. In the long term, in order to form strategic alliance and enhance its own competitiveness and achieve a "win-win", core enterprise shall select some competent and influence suppliers. To some extent, the smooth operation and performance of the supply chain are decided by the supplier selection and evaluation. So, in order to evaluate and select supplier scientifically and rationally, how to establish evaluation index system and choose appropriate methods for supplier selection is a very worthy of study.First of all, the paper focuses on discussing the research background and some problems that will be solved, and then summarizing evaluation index system and methods of selecting and evaluating suppliers both at home and abroad. And the paper also focuses on analyzing the strategic partnership between the enterprise and suppliers under supply chain. Secondly, the paper focuses on establishing the selection and evaluation index system, which includes product competitiveness, the ability to cooperate, the competitiveness of the internal and external environment according to previous research and the relevant principles. In addition, methods of supplier selection are summarized and analyzed. And they have their own strengths and weaknesses. Therefore, the new model of supplier selection is putted forward, which is based on principal component analysis and neural networks. This model has both their respective advantages. And using this model can simply the structure of neural networks and reduce training time. At the same time, owing to using Bayesian regularization methods to optimize neural networks, the generalization ability of neural networks is improved. Then, the result of the case verifies the validity and availability of the model that is built in this paper base on the Matlab. Finally, the paper focuses on looking forward to the future of this subject.
