Facility Planning And Layout For Mobile Manufacture Under MC

The article is about the facility planning and layout for a new mobile manufacture factory under mass customization. Fa company is an international company whose main products are wireless communications. At this point, Fa wanted to set up its own factory at L city in China. We need to study the facility layout and planning, then draw out the optimized layout. The follow items were the project target: Space utilization optimization , material handle/travel cost minimization, management visible, and production flexible.This article was used the systematic layout planning (SLP) method, analyses the process flow chart, then drew out the overall facility layout for the new building. According the SLP method model, utilized the material flow chart to analyses the relationship between couples of departments. At final, got the best facility layout solution for the new plant.After our study and effort, the new plant project has completed parts buildings of the all in time. All the machines were defined clearly at the building and run in good status. The deferent production processes were linked together smoothly. The building space was utilized efficiently. And the new building were available for deferent products and bigger production capacity with a little changing.
