China's soaring economy has brought its people rising living standards,as well as a fast-changing market.The multi-species and low-volume production can be seen as an answer to enterprises' top priority concerning quick response to market changes.Smart facility layout of workshop facilities is an important way to reduce the spending of the material handling process which generally takes 20%-30% of the total production cost,and the knotty problem is how to quickly optimize the layout and reduce other cost increases according to the constantly changing production plan.Cellular manufacture responds quickly to the plan alterations,and it is of great significance to design a dynamic facility layout model for this form of production.Firstly,the thesis will analyze the basic theories of cellular manufacture and facility layout.Design a static two-level layout model for cell manufacturing.According to the scale of the problem and the practicability of the method,the genetic algorithm is selected to solve the problem,and the application process and method of the genetic algorithm are studied.Secondly,in view of cellular manufacture,this thesis is to elaborate all logistics costs and take into consideration the size,initial position and relocation cost of the production equipment,the per unit cost of materials entry and exit in the plant room,craft routing of products,etc.This helps create the criterion for dynamic facility layout,which can ascertain the main logistics costs and offer three layout schemes,providing the most effective workshop layout optimization scheme for decision makers.Thirdly,in order to improve the adaptability of the workshop layout and achieve low frequency of the equipment relocation under the rapidly changing production plan,a redundancy control coefficient is proposed to control the robustness of the workshop layout for workshops with different equipment areas,setting a redundancy layout model based on the dynamic facility layout.Lastly,it comes to case study.A production workshop using cell production is seen as the research object,and according to the initial layout of the workshop,the product demand and craft routing of coming orders,using the above-mentioned criterion,the best layout optimization plan is generated.The comparation between this method and traditional optimizations proves its feasibility and effectiveness.
