Study On Ebinur Lake's Resources Utilization And Industry Development Of The Salty Lake

Ebinur Lake which is located in Xinjiang as a typical plain area lake has shown a dynamic change in the past 50 years due to the double impacts (the basin climate and human disturbance). Because of its important ecological geographical positions, Ebinur Lake was approved by the State Council in May 2007 as a state-level Wetland Nature Reserve and a National Forestry Science Education Base with its scope covering Ebinur Lake wetlands, Lake and its surrounding low-lying land area. At the same time, Ebinur Lake, as a high salinity of the salt lake, is rich in salt brine and animal and plant resources. And there is a wide range of higher value, tourism resources in abundance, scarcity of high development potential. Salt Lake resource development to meet the country's resources demand, particularly for regional economic development, and social stability is of important and practical significance. Development of the Salt Lake industries has begun to take shape, like Ebinur Lake region as Jinghe County's important economic pillars. Almost all of the salt industries are located in the Nature Reserve of Ebinur Lake, and its development will affect the function of the integrity of protected areas. This paper is written against this background.Since this research project involves more content, the paper, by analyzing the current resources situation , development level and description of its potential industrialization of the Ebinur Lake, explores the possibility of comprehensive development and utilization of the Lake recourses which should set a good example for industrial development of the Lake and promotion of the economic growth in the West, analyzes the problems occurring in the development as well as the impacts on the environment around the Lake and puts forward the preliminary advice to the development of salt industry of the Lake.The preliminary conclusions from the research are as followings:①Ebinur Lake is very rich in salt with high value;②The ecological environment is the main factors constraining the Salt Lake form industrial development;③The salt industry development is comparatively stable with large impact on regional economic;④There is no obvious relationship between the output of crude salt and the changes of the Lake area;⑤More experience should be borrowed from both home and abroad for sustainable development.As for the further research on the impact of the Salt Lake industry on the ecological environment around Ebinur Lake will, the author will not study here but in the future.
