The Study Of The Relationship Between Entrepreneurial Orientation And Business Performance In Dynamic Environments

First of all, complex and dynamic market environment led to more and more enterprises to take the entrepreneurial orientation strategy. Compared to whether the establishment of entrepreneurial orientation strategy, the constituent elements of entrepreneurial orientation and its impact on business performance has become a focal point of research. Therefore there have been many different perspectives in the academic area about the construct elements of entrepreneurial orientation (EO) and the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and business performance. But all former studies, particularly the empirical researches, had almost been conducted in the Western context, while lacking of exploration and testing in the Eastern context, especially in the background of China economy.Secondly, from the entrepreneurial orientation strategy to business performance, there are many other variables affect the process and the path between them, such as organizational structure, resources, culture, industry characteristics, the environment, etc. By summing up the results of previous studies found that in these influencing factors, dynamic environment is an important conditioning variable which impacting the relationship of between entrepreneurial orientation and business performance.On the other hand, in the past related research about the relationship of between entrepreneurial orientation and business performance. There are many different measure indicators on the business performance, different scholars often use a different perspective and different measure indicators to analysis business performance, at the same time there is no unified theory in the latter part of the data processing. In light of the above problems, this study is to explore a theoretical model of the performance evaluation. On this basis using the research data of Chinese enterprises and the regression equation model to test and verify the relationship of between entrepreneurial orientation and business performance, and the regulatory role of dynamic environment. This article expects to provide a theoretical basis for start-up practice of Chinese enterprises. Study in four phases:First of all , the related literature of the business performance , dynamic environment and business performance are reviewed. On this basis summarize the dimension of entrepreneurial orientation in this article and the evaluation indicators of business performance and the evaluation indicators of dynamic environment, then clearly the logical relationship between these elements.Secondly, on the basis on the literature summary of business performance, this article wants to propose the performance evaluation model. The focus on business performance is finding a theory platform for the selection of performance indicators and data-processing , and ultimately establishing the theoretical model of business performance evaluation about this study.Third, based on the theory, this article wants to build the relationship model between entrepreneurial orientation, dynamic environment and business performance, and propose assumptions.Finally, designing Questionnaire, implementing research and recovering the data. Then based on the 183 valid questionnaires, this article will test the choice of business performance and its relationship with the entrepreneurial orientation and discuss the test results, further clarify Significance of this study in the theory and practice.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1) Business performance can be divided into two dimensions: the survival-type performance and growth performance.(2) In the different business enterprises, there were significant differences about the business performance of its concern. Survival start-ups pay more attention to the survival-type performance, and opportunities enterprises pay more attention to the growth performance of enterprises.(3) The entrepreneurial orientation of the enterprises has a positive effect to the overall business performance the survival-type performance and growth performance in Survival enterprises.(4) The regulatory role that dynamic environment to the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and business performance is not significant in this study.
