Since the global financial crisis,under the background of the weak recovery of the world economy,the international banking industry has been affected by economic globalization,technological innovation,financial disintermediation and other factors.It is facing the challenge of deteriorating operating environment.The major banks have set off a wave of transformation and transformation.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,commercial banks in China have to face not only the changes of the new normal domestic economy,but also the strong competition from the new financial format,Internet finance and other rivals.Operating risks and pressures continue to increase.It is urgent to resolve financial risks,improve the quality of assets and improve operating performance through transformation and upgrading,in order to form sustainable competitive advantages.Since the 1980 s,the focus of entrepreneurship management has gradually shifted from focusing on micro-entrepreneurs to internal entrepreneurship or corporate entrepreneurship in established companies.Facts have proved that corporate entrepreneurship has very important theoretical and practical value in promoting the healthy growth of enterprises,coping with the threat of environmental change,and enhancing core competitiveness.Based on the starting point of commercial bank entrepreneurship,this paper studies the internal relationship among bank entrepreneurship orientation,dynamic capabilities and operating performance,and establishes an analysis model on the basis of literature induction and theoretical research,which is of great value to the transformation and development of China's banking industry.The relationship between entrepreneurial orientation,dynamic capability and corporate performance of commercial banks studied in this paper not only provides theoretical guidance for the correct guidance and overall planning of the financial industry at the macro level,but also provides theoretical support and specific path for the formation of core competitiveness of commercial banks at the micro level.In this paper,we use the combination of corporate entrepreneurship theory,commercial bank management theory,strategic management theory and financial innovation theory,based on the theoretical literature of entrepreneurship orientation,dynamic capabilities,entrepreneurial environment and so on.By combining the basic theory of Finance and management with the typical case study of China Merchants Bank,this paper refines the core elements of commercial banks.Subsequently,600 questionnaires were designed and distributed by the method of empirical analysis and normative analysis.A total of 534 valid questionnaires were received from 14 banks in Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces.The survey covered all types of banks,and the investigators included employees at all levels.In empirical analysis,through descriptive statistics,reliability and validity analysis,and correlation test,multiple linear regression analysis and structural equation model are used to test the hypothesis.The test results show that most of the hypotheses are supported by data.On the basis of the above research,Citibank of the United States and Ping An Bank of China are selected as typical case studies to study the entrepreneurial behavior of the two banks in their development history,analyze the factors influencing the entrepreneurial choice of commercial banks in the historical environment,such as opportunities,resources and capabilities,and test the validity of the analysis framework and model.Finally,it puts forward policy suggestions to promote the entrepreneurship of commercial banks in China at this stage.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The impact of different dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation on performance of commercial banks is quite different.(2)The dynamic capabilities of commercial banks have different degrees of positive impact on performance.(3)The dimensions of initiative and risk-taking in the entrepreneurial orientation of commercial banks have no significant positive impact on some dimensions of dynamic capabilities.(4)Most of the influence of entrepreneurial orientation of commercial banks is transferred to business performance through dynamic capabilities.(5)The hostility dimension of entrepreneurial environment has no significant positive moderating effect in the model.The purpose of this paper is to explore the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation,dynamic capabilities and bank performance in the context of economic transformation and intensified competition.The theoretical contributions and innovations are as follows:(1)Based on the refinement of elements and the construction of models of banking entrepreneurship behavior,it has opened up a new field for the study of influencing factors.At present,the research on Entrepreneurship of large enterprises has been more extensive,but the research on entrepreneurship factors focusing on financial industry,especially commercial banks,is still rarely involved.Through theoretical analysis and case studies,this paper defines and measures the entrepreneurial orientation,dynamic capabilities and operational performance of banks,constructs the relationship model of entrepreneurial orientation,dynamic capabilities and performance impact of commercial banks,presents different forms of financial industry enterprises with special scenarios of entrepreneurship,and expands the scope of application of entrepreneurship research.(2)Based on the characteristics of China,transitional economic environment,this paper explores the moderating effect of environmental dynamics and hostility on the relationship among Entrepreneurial orientation,dynamic capabilities and performance of commercial banks.In the field of entrepreneurship,the research on entrepreneurial behavior in developing countries is still inadequate.Especially in China,a new country with transition,the entrepreneurial activities of commercial banks show unique characteristics.Different from the general enterprise entrepreneurship,the hostility of the environment has no significant moderating effect between the entrepreneurial orientation and dynamic ability of commercial banks,which is not unrelated to the long-term protection of the survival of commercial banks in China.The research results are more in line with the actual situation.(3)Combining the existing theoretical research results and typical case studies,this paper defines the concept and dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation and dynamic capabilities of commercial banks,and constructs the entrepreneurial mechanism model of commercial banks.Based on the theoretical analysis and case study,this paper constructs the research model and puts forward the analysis hypothesis.On the premise of fully considering the unique high-risk business attributes of commercial banks,this paper uses theory and case study to form the mechanism model of commercial banks.By introducing intermediary variables and regulatory variables into the model,combining high-risk changes in entrepreneurial environment with dynamic capabilities,the theoretical model analysis results are more in line with the actual operation of our banks,and have more practical application value.
