| With the process of globalization and the much fiercer competition,the electronic industry,as the pioneer of advanced technology,has gained much more attention from the whole society.After we entered the WTO,the Chinese economy has become even more open,and has mixed with the tide of globalization further. Meanwhile,multinational companies have come into China,and this brings the whole electronic industry into a worldwide marketplace,and the competition that the industry faces is international.To all these enterprises,in order to improve the corporation's competency,it is essential to design a more scientific,more comprehensive and more objective evaluation system to assess the competency of the company.The evaluation system of competency is always the focus of overseas scholars. But,it is not until these years our domestic scholars have began to pay attention to the methodologies that is more scientific and more objective,on which the further research can be based.And the present domestic researches are not localized enough and not concentrate on specific industry.The electronic industry is one of the most important stanchion industry,and it is the jumping-off point,of our country's economic development,however,it is also the bottleneck of our economy.Hence,it is critical and urgent to build a more practicing and scientific evaluation system that is designed for the electronic industry.The system can help the companies to identify. their present position in the industry as well as to find their shortcomings,so as to adjust their strategies as soon as possible.At the same time,with the rapid development of Chinese economy and the dramatic competition in the marketplace,the electronic industry is trying the best to pursue and maintain their competitive advantages.Regarding to the competence evaluation system,the scholars home and abroad have found some conclusions,but not sufficient.There are no such researches that face directly Chinese electronic industry.Although the domestic researchers are devoting to building an evaluation system that can reflect China's specific situation,all they did were qualitative researches.The paper broadly collected and coordinated the previous papers,deeply researched the investigations of the domestic and abroad scholars,and reviewed their contributions.Then from all the reviews,the paper abstracted 19 financial indexes which have been widely recognized that can objectively reflect a company's competency.Furthermore,the paper reviewed the regarding methodologies domestic and abroad,contrasted them with each other and gained each method's advantages and disadvantages,then chose the most appropriate ones as the cool of the paper's further research,which are Data Deduction and Analytic Hierarchy Process.Then,by inviting experts to discuss and questionnaire,the paper built the content validity of the scale.With the tool of SPSS16.0 Data Analytic Software,the pre-testing was conducted,using 50%of the samples that had been collected.The division scale was tested by Independent-sample T Test.Then,the reliability of the scale was tested,and under some level that has been recognized as necessary,some indexes that is not approach the level were deleted.By using the method of Data Deduction,the scale was optimized,and some indexes were deleted again.Finally,the scale was deducted into 3 dimensions:the capability of operation,the capability of credit and the capability of further developing.The operation capability reflects a company's efficiency of assets operation and benefits,and high operation capacity helps the company to gain profits and it shows high management ability,meanwhile it is the base of company's long-term development.The credit ability mainly means paying debts on time and the ability of making full use of the credit lever.A company's further development capacity states its potential for future competency,and it is an ability to maintain the present advantages and constantly gain new advantages.A company that has competency must acquire further development capacity so as to challenge the changing environment.After all of this,the second test was conducted by using the method of Certificate Factor Analysis,this helped to identify the scale's reliability and validity that was built in the process of pre-test.And the results showed that the reliability and validity level was satisfied.In order to build a more comprehensive evaluation system,Analytic Hierarchy Process was used to define each dimension's power in evaluating a company's competency.Finally,aiming to show the practicing value of the system,the paper chose 5 listed electronic companies randomly,and collected their regarding data.The five companies' competency was evaluated according to the evaluation system this paper had built,and some suggestions were to the companies.According to the results,at present time,especially the electronic industry,companies always pay their attention to the short-term operation and neglect the long-term development ability.This will surely influence a company's future competitive advantage.The evaluation system the paper built alerts enterprises to value their further development and gain new advantages as well as maintain the advantages they already have.The structure that has built in this paper not only considers a corporation present competitive position in the industry but also values a company's ability of using credit lever,meanwhile,it respects a company's further development ability as an important dimension.This avoids the companies' short-term behaviors.The competency evaluation theory of electronic industry is highly enriched,and the researching methodologies are renewed;the listed electronic companies' problems are clarified and solutions are provided in this paper;the evaluation system can guide the investors to make right investing decisions;and protects the relatives' legal rights. |
