Bonded area alongside port is a kind of area which is specially supervised by Chinese customs.The purpose of its establishment is to develop export-oriented economy by attracting foreign capital and technology.Since its foundation,it played a great role in attracting foreign funds,promoting the international trade and upgrading the export processing industry.But lots of problems appear alter a long period of its development,such as the unbalance of its function development,nonstandard management and unsound laws and rules.To some extent,these problems will lower the following development speed of the bonded area.So it's necessary to do some researches on the following development directions of the bonded area.Qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis methods are used in studying the bonded area's transformation and upgrade.The analysis outline of this paper is shown below.As the boded area is established imitating the international Free Trade Zone,the present development and theory study situation of the FTZ and bonded area is introduced first.Then case study analysis and quantitative analysis methods are used to comprehensively evaluate the present situation of the bonded area.After these processes above,bonded area,export processing zone and free trade zone are compared on the whole and in detail.Then the present challenges and problems that the bonded area are facing now are analyzed.On the basis of all the above analysis,some advices are given accordingly.The purpose of this paper is to further promote the development of the bonded area. I wish this paper can partly play as directing role for the bonded area's further development in theory.
