Study On The Coordinated Development Of Industrial Structure Evolvement And The Urbanization Process

The study on the coordinated development of industrial structure evolvement and the urbanization process has been an important theme in the field of industry economics research.China has come in an era of industrialization and urbanization. The role of cities has changed greatly in the development of the society and the economy.We have to confront the new issue of how to approach urban construction from a new visual angle and make it the lever for driving forward the development of urban industries.Starting from the rule of interactions between industrial structure evolvement and urbanization,the author makes Shanghai serve as the research object,and tries to find out a solution to the construction of an international metropolitan city-ShanghaiThis article is divided into six chapters.Chapter One explains the background and significance for the research,and the research methods and the contents.Chapter Two summarizes the theories of industrial structure evolvement and urbanization, and the interacting mechanism between them,which are illustrated by some study cases. Chapter Three describes the history of evolving track of Shanghai' s industrial structure and the transformation of Shanghai' s industrial structure since the introduction of the reforming and opening policy,and focuses on the changes taking place in industry and the tertiary industry.Chapter Four further analyses the fact that Shanghai's industrial structure evolvements have led to the transformation of the city' s space and regional structure from the single-core mode to the multi-core mode,prompted the formations of the multi-function downtown area, constituted the basic framework of the suburban space structure.Starting from the requirements of the construction,Chapter Five summarizes the background and the general characteristics of the evolvements of metropolitan cities,and proposes the measures to develop Shanghai into an international metropolitan city after comparing and analyzing typical city cases.Chapter Six is the conclusion.
