The Research On Mining Heritage Tourism Development In Chongqing

With the development of heritage tourism and the re-recognition of the value of mining heritage, development and protection of mining heritage receive more and more concern from the society. Mining heritage tourism becomes a new kind of the high-level tourism,which can provide with authentic experience from mining heritage,satisfies the travel needs for novelty,curiosity and knowledge.But the present situation of mining heritage tourism at home is problematic,that most of development of mining heritage tourism is not successful.Recently,the study of heritage tourism at home has made a great achievement.However,as a special type of heritage tourism,the mining heritage tourism has hardly been studied,and still has some gap with overseas.It is required to study and discuss mining heritage tourism,especially in development model,touring routes,products structure,interpretation system and so forth.Based on the cultural landscape theory,tourism system theory,tourism marketing theory, tourism culture theory and tourism sustainable development theory,considering the successful experiences and modes made by domestic and overseas mining heritage tourism development,this thesis analyzes mining heritage tourism resources in Chongqing and puts forward the ideals and countermeasures on development.The paper aims at discovering a sustainable use of Chongqing's mining heritages,while hoping to realize economic benefit,social benefit and environmental benefit through mining heritage tourism.This paper is divided into five chapters.In the first chapter,the preface summarizes the background of choosing this topic and significance of studying,the research summary of domestic and international mining heritage tourism development,the research design and the frame.In the second chapter,on the basis of summarizing the current situation of internal and external studies on mining heritage tourism,the author puts forward his understanding of concept of mining heritage tourism,while analyzing characteristics of mining heritage tourism.Subsequently,the author introduces the theory of cultural landscape,the theory of tourism system,the theory of tourism marketing,the theory of tourism culture and the theory of sustainable development in tourism.In the third chapter,the author analyzes the basic condition and current situation on development of mining heritage tourism in Chongqing.The author evaluates the mining heritage tourism resource in Chongqing by the use of AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) way,obtains a lot of data on mining heritage tourist market in Chongqing,through questionnaires and field investigation.On the basis of analyzing data,the author proposes major issues in the development of mining heritage tourism in Chongqing,such as plan,product,market,interpretation and resource protection.In the forth chapter, considering the current state of Chongqing,the author presents the development mode of mining heritage tourism and countermeasures in Chongqing.At last,the author sums up the research achievements.Beside,it points out the shortages of the study.The author offers scientific reference for further development in theory and practice of mining heritage tourism.
