Theoretical And Empirical Study On The Inter-organizational Learning In Enterprise Strategy Innovation Ecosystem

As the 21st century comes, a new competitive environment is taking shape, in which a variety of competitive forces are affecting the industry's competing space, the existing rules are updated, the industry boundaries are constantly broken, the customers' preferences are changing, the enterprise competitive advantage is constantly eroding, the life of enterprise strategy seems to be continuously compressed. Under such background, corporate strategy innovation is increasingly pressing. By synthetically applying theories and methods of Strategy, Innovation, Management, Ecology and Systematic Science and so on, this dissertation explores into the composition and operation of enterprise strategy innovation ecosystem, and deeply analyzes the learning mechanism of enterprise strategy innovation ecosystem. On the foundation of the theoretical analysis, the dissertation brings forward a research model and some hypotheses of the empirical research to analyze the influence of the operation and learning ability of enterprise strategy innovation ecosystem on strategic innovation. The main research done in this dissertation can be summarized as follows:Firstly, the dissertation introduces the research background and significance, and reviews the abundant literatures on innovation network, innovation ecosystem, the inter-organizational learning of strategic alliances and industry cluster.Secondly, the dissertation reviews on the theoretical basis: enterprise strategy innovation theories, business eco-system theories and organizational learning theories, summarizes major theoretical viewpoints and some key concepts, which lays a solid foundation and provides theoretical support for the following enterprise strategy innovation ecosystem research.Thirdly, the dissertation analyzes the concept of enterprise strategy innovation ecosystem, and focuses on the internal structure of enterprise strategy innovation ecosystem: core level, cooperation level and value realization level and their respective connotation. Then, it clarifies that the main characteristics and the learning mechanism of enterprise strategy innovation ecosystem, which includes the characteristics of the learning, learning dynamics mechanism and the learning process (knowledge storage—knowledge transferring—knowledge internation—knowledge innovation). The four components of learning process model, namely knowledge incubator, knowledge-sharing eco-system, knowledge base and knowledge transferring path are illustrated in detail. In addition, the dissertation elaborated on the impacting factors of the learning process and effects.Fourthly, the dissertation puts forward some hypotheses for the empirical research, makes some investigations including interviews and questionnaire on 136 enterprises, and analyzes the results with the corresponding analysis software such as SPSS13.0 and AMOS7.0.According to the investigation results and data analysis, several research conclusion are drawn and the research model and hypotheses are adjusted. For one thing, the effective operation of ecosystem and the learning process of ecosystem have remarkable positive influence on enterprise strategic innovation; for another, the learning process of ecosystem positive impact on the effective operation of ecosystem; finally, the learning qualities of members of ecosystem, which has no significant impact on strategic innovation, positive influence on the learning process of ecosystem.
