Now as it stands,the pervasive inefficiency in China's construction enterprises have been severely hindering the sound development of the construction industry.Therefore,it is of practical importance to seek for countermeasures to improve the project performance of construction enterprises.By theories of project performance,this essay holds that project performance results from a comprehensive action of industrial environment of project government,the optimization of which is the guarantee,and managerial means and methods in project operation,the strengthening of which is the key.Project performance evaluating system directs the imploration for countermeasures to improve project performance as well as provides footholds for assessing project performance.Through analyzing the current project performance evaluating system,the essay develops another performance evaluating system integrated scientifically by financial and non-financial indexes,combining decisive key elements to project performance.The paper contributes the cause of pervasive inefficiency of construction enterprises' project programs mainly to the lack of standardization of industrial operation and the low level of project governing of the construction enterprises themselves;and proposes a series of strategies aiming at improvement in project performance from the perspective of strengthening standardized operation of the whole industry and project management of construction enterprises.Finally based on investigation of the actual situation of GST Engineering Company and analyses on relevant statistics,the paper verifies the effectiveness of the countermeasures to improve project performance;and proposes further strategies to better the corporation's project performance from its strategic height of development.The research result is of reference significance to promote project performance of construction enterprises in China.
