As a big province with all kinds of tourism resources,the potential of Henan's tourism Industry is vital and should have the prominent position in the development of the society, A lot of tour famous place for scenery or historical relics already becomes famous around here and overseas. But east door as the Henan province, The Shangqiu city tour achievement owning rich tours resource by the same token is but not really ideal. shangqiu tourism industry should have been developed well for its abundant natural and historic resources but in fact it didn't gain the fame and occupy the deserved marketing proportion of tourism and is still in the beginning period of development at present. It is urgent that scientific theory of tourism marketing should be adopted to guide the marketing activities of shangqiu tourism.Thesis basis expounding in theory is upper, First, based on the marketing environment analysis, it estimates tourism market, market segment and market positioning. Secondly, by the comparison of tourism resource characteristics with the need of consumers, the article makes target market and market positioning clearly. At last, the author provides tourism market in Product, price , channel and sales promotion , trying to do some beneficial probe from the aspect of marketing in this field.
