The Research On Tourism Education Values Orientation From The Perspective Of Life

With the fast rhythm of contemporary Chinese social transformation, a deep change has occurred in individual living style both in public and private areas. This change took the improvement of life quality as its target. Faced with such a situation, how to make tourism education improve the quality of students'lives is a real question that can not be ignored. From the beginning of tourism education to the present, the values that have been presumed are how to handover knowledge scientifically, how to operate technique in a proper way, and whether the trained students are adapt to the development in tourism. Besides these values give stress to conformity and obedience, standard and order, taking students as the passive knowledge receiver, instead of the active lives with a variety of human features. Students under this kind of training lack initiatives in tourism employment and high passion to make them into those who love lives, and understand the pleasures in tourism. To cope with these changes in our time, we should consider the influences of the social transformation on tourism education from a humanitarianism perspective, and reconsider tourism education. What's more, we should put students first. It is only based on this concept that we are able to explore the values in tourism education.
