Competition And Monopoly Analysis Of Beijing Fitness Industry

The success of Beijing Olympics and the actualization of Outline of the Nationwide Body-building Plan have prompted the sports passions of Chinese nationals.This trend drives up whole sports,including fitness industry and promotes China's culture industry.Especially,it elevates peoples' life quality and spiritual level.In recent years,the fitness industry in Beijing has witnessed rapid growth, however,compare with developed countries and areas,it still has lots of problems, such as bad industrial structure and low corporate efficiency.These problems are,to some extend,great obstacles for improvement of Chinese nationals' life quality and the development of China economy.This article firstly compares fitness industry in Beijing with those in developed countries,discussing the gap and existing problems.Then it adapts SCP theory, analysis the industrial organization of Beijing's fitness industry from industrial Structure,Conduct and Performance.It also finds out the affecting factors and the background,figuring out the problems exists in fitness industrial organization.Last, it raises suggestions according to the current status of Beijing fitness industry.
