A Study On The Development Of China's SMEs

SMEs are a group of wonderful economic notes, come together to form a splendid concerto of the national economy under the combined action of the marketing and the government. That is, one is "invisible hand", the other is "visible hand", and they direct these notes to dance perfectly.China's reform and opening-up policy has been carried out about 30 years. In these years, SMEs have experienced a very tortuous course of the survival and development. Entering the 21st Century, the development of SMEs appeared unprecedented prosperity scene, and in the role of the national economy has become increasingly evident. SMEs in the social, economic and other fields have shown great vitality. For example, the promotion of economic growth, the promotion of scientific and technological innovation, the settlement of rural surplus labor and the employment of laid-off workers, and to push forward the urbanization process in rural areas etc. Meanwhile, the restriction factors of SMEs development began to appear, especially in the depressed global economic environment today, the development of SMEs is disturbance inside and the storm outside, have to face the survival of the test. The development of SMEs relates our country economic development and the social stability, how to develop in future is an important issue. Using the opinions of modern enterprise management to study the development of SMEs has a strong practical significance.This paper, using empirical analysis method mainly, to study the development of SMEs . First of all, we would like to find the theoretic support for the existence and development of SMEs. Second, base on the reality, we use qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis methods to analyze the present situation of SMEs , also point out the causes of the status quo and development trend. Third, according to integrate theory with practice, we try to find out the restriction factors of SMEs development from the enterprise himself and his external environment. Such as: the quality of enterprise managers, integrity, innovation, environment impact, and the impact of government policies etc. We analyze them one by one, and propose solutions. Then, focusing on the development of SMEs in the most important constraints, the feasible strategies are proposed, namely: self-optimization of enterprise and government support. Finally, we come to the conclusion: With the external environment of enterprises gradually optimize, their own problems will become a major factor constraining development. SMEs should be in good faith-based, rely on independence and self-improvement, and also need constantly self-optimization. It is the driving force for his development indeed. We point out the shortcoming of this paper also.To a certain extent, this research can help the SMEs to put the axe in the helve. At the same time, it also provides part reference value to the government departments' relevance decision-making.
