From the 1990s, the society has been into knowledge economic era .Every enterprise has to meet new challenges under the change of environment and the development of organization .To be faced the new challenges, the success of enterprise is growing to depend on the quality of knowledge, it is imperative to create competitive advantage and sustainable competitive advantage by the enterprise's knowledge. Knowledge management has been caused more concern than ever before.By researching on the relations of knowledge management and archive management, it has been pointed out problems existed and archive management was highly correlated with knowledge management. It pointed out the new direction of archive management .It is extremely urgent for the research of archive management informationization based on knowledge management .How to depend on knowledge management to integrate the information in enterprise and then to build huge core competitiveness is imperative. It is the trend to build archive management based on knowledge management.Based on theory and practice, it gave out the mode of constructing enterprise archive informationization based on knowledge management as follows: Promoting the idealism of knowledge management, encouraging organization learning, constructing the culture of knowledge share, creating knowledge database; improving the quality of archive manager, providing knowledge service, from information collecting center to knowledge creation center. From what has been discussed we may draw the conclusion as follows: at the knowledge economic era ,knowledge management is the direction of archive management innovation ;Knowledge management can improve the core competitiveness; Improving management idealism and the culture of knowledge share is the prelude of knowledge management ;Archive management based on knowledge management made information collection center to knowledge creation center .The fact of archive management based on knowledge management is increasing to create knowledge.
