General public transport,which is an important part of the public transport system in our country,is the major part of public transport in many cities.The level of the bus enterprises,the operators of general public transport,has direct effect on the development level of the city's public transport,relation to people's daily travel demand and influence on the city's socio-economic development.So it has important practical significance to evaluate and analysis objectively the bus enterprise's operating result, identify the problem timely and find out the improved measures effectively.The paper aims at evaluating the bus enterprise's operating result.First of all,the paper sums up the research and development of the public transport's operation and management at home and abroad,then expounds the reflections of operating results from the view of enterprises,passengers and society.Secondly,combining with the actual situation of the bus enterprises' operating and learning from past experience,the paper establishes a set of relatively comprehensive evaluation index system.And then, introduce the way of AHP into the DEA model and make them an organic integration after analyzing many comprehensive evaluation ways.Finally,Select three subsidiary companies of Beijng BaFangDa Passenger Co.Ltd as the Decision Making Units, evaluate them from the whole operating result and operating efficiency two aspects, analyze the evaluation results and supply the improved suggestion.
