Producer Services Competitiveness Research In Chongqing

Since the 1980's, with the level of economic development continuing to improve,in the developed countries and regions, the service sector, especially the producer services plays an active role in adjustment and layout of the industrial structure and economic space,and plays an important role in promoting regional economic growth,increasing employment,raising the level of people's income and then improving the level of overall well-being of the city. In particular, producer services as a knowledge-based service industry which meets the needs of the middle, provides intermediate services, plays a positive promoting role in regional or urban economic development,the level of competitiveness of producer services has a direct impact on the regional or the urban economic development.Since the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century,China's service industry especially producer services accelerated the speed of development. To Beijing and Shanghai as the representative of the eastern developed areas, gradually, producer services had became an important driving force to promote the local economy continue and healthy development. The Overall competitiveness of producer services has been the leading level in domestic. Chongqing as a unique municipality in western China, shoulders the historic missions for east-west, leading the development of the western China and narrowing the gap between the urban-rural dual structure of Chongqing. However,a range of issues in the current status of economic development in Chongqing have an essential requirement for the city to through develop producer services to promote transformation and upgrading of industrial structure, push the productive level of competitiveness of producer services has improved significantly, at the same time, promote the mode of economic growth has an effective transformation,thereby enhance the overall competitiveness of the industry. That can play an important and strategic supporting role in construction the important growth pole of the western China and the economic center of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River for Chongqing.This study use economics,management ,statistics as the theoretical guidance, in order to enhance the competitiveness of producer services of Chongqing as the starting point and end point, a wide range of literature analysisand research as the premise, based on the results of domestic producer services development of cutting-edge research, carry out a scientific definition of producer services concept and classification in Chongqing. By suck in the related principle of industrial competitiveness, combinate normative and empirical research studies, analyse comprehensively and systematically producer services development status of Chongqing.furthermore,through the establishment productive competitiveness evaluation index system of producer services, have a comprehensive evaluation on producer services competitive leve of Chongqing,and then analyze the problems and the reasons which impact the smooth development and enhancing the competitiveness level of producer services in Chongqing, finally, make some suggestions which enhance the competitiveness of producer services of Chongqing.
