| As an important component of the Urban socio-economic activities, Urban transport plays an important role in the development of city.Situated in the middle ofChina, Wuhan City has a great taffic location and has always been a "nine provinces thoroughfare ".With the rapid development of economy,there has been 760,000 vehicles during the recent years.The current supply can not meet the traffic continued growth of the traffic demand,which bring about some problems.So it's of great significance to take advantage of the urban transport sustainable development theory to guid Wuhan urban transport planning.Firstly,this paper elaborates the process of development of the theories about the sustainable development and the urban transport and the urban tranoport sustainable development. And then,it details the present situation of wuhan city transport from mainly from road traffic, public transport, external transport and traffic management and technology development. As can be seen the construction of Wuhan urban transport has made some achievements, including forming radiology ring network with the fast road, the trunk, the first ring road ,the second ring road and the third ring as the rode skeleton in main city and increasing investment in transport year by year .However,there are still some problems as follows:ever-decreasing speed of vehicle in cenral area; Ever-increasing traffic jams gradually spread; unreasonal transport structure, conventional public transport is still the main part and the problem of traffic congestion crossing the Yangtze River; external transport system has not been formed, the imbalance between supply and demand;traffic pollution, especially noise pollution.In view of the above issues, this thesis establish a urban transport sustainale development index system of Wuhan city based on sustainable development theory.The system includes 21 indexes,which cover economy, population, society, resources and envirement.By the corresponding treatment on the collected data, get the corresponding index value of quantitative indicators. For the qualitative indicators for the level of traffic management, using Delphi tostatutory quantified; Reference to "Urban Traffic Management Evaluation System" and "urban road design specifications" given by the corresponding standard, make use of linear methods to make idexes non-dimensional indicators.Then, by AHP to get the weight of indexes for Wuhan urban transport sustainale development. Finally, by applying the weight to be linear legitimateget the value of Wuhan Urban Transport which is 68.08, which is at the weak level of sustainable development. According to the results of the assessment, put forward the sustainable development of counter measures and suggestions for Wuhan city. Optimization of the road system, resolve the issue of freight cross-border traffic, coordinated the establishment of dynamic and static passive transport system; construction of rail transporttation as the backbone of public transport systems; to strengthen the constructionof public transport hub; accelerate the construction of BRT line; to speed up the building of intelligent transportation systems technology and enhance the level of traffic management; enhance public awareness of road safety; Strengthen the control of vehicle emissions andconstruction of green belts to enhance road. |
