Feasibility Study On FSC Certification In China

The FCS certification system,which is the world's first forest certification system,is the first introduction forest certification system in China.At present,all of the Chinese forest management certification(FM) and most of the chain of custody certification(COC) are certified by the FSC certification system.On the basis of theoretical and demonstration research,this thesis has demonstrated the feasibility of the FCS certification system in China from the aspects of social benefit, economic profit and environmental perfection on the national and enterprise stratification.It has provided theoretical and practice basis for the development of forest certification system of China.First of all,this paper has briefly explicated the origin of forest certification as well as its definition,proposes and the FCS certification system.Then based on the analyzing of development status of forest certification in China,this paper uses the methods of SWOT analysis and a comparative analysis to demonstrate the feasibility of the FCS certification system in China from the theoretical perspective.Further more,unifies the investigation study and the Changhua case,on the national and enterprise stratification,this paper has analyzed the influence on the society,economy and environment before and after the implementation of FCS certification,which has demonstrated the feasibility of the FCS certification system from the empirical point of view.In closing,this paper has primarily explored the FCS certification system implementation plan in China,and put forward some suggestions on the development of forest certification in China.
