The Study On Risk Management In Construction Of LNG Receiving Terminal

The purpose of this thesis work is to analyze the risk in the construction of LNG terminal project in China and develop the countermeasures to solve the risk problems.It introduces the main progress of LNG terminal project,the advantage construction model and risk management in foreign countries,and analyzes the risks in China, i.e. financing risk,construction technique risk,marketing risk,LNG resource risk,political risk,etc..It also analyzes the risks with a scenario LNG terminal project in west of Pearl River Delta, compares the risk manage between foreign countries and China,then points out that the LNG project in China should strengthen the basis of engineering company, introduce an incentive mechanism, adopt positive defence of risks and variant strategies for regions, comply with the state planning on energy,etc. to mitigate the risk in LNG terminal project.
