Study On The Stability Of Enterprise Strategic Alliance

The reason why enterprise builds strategic alliance with others is that an alliance can unite complementary recourses, promote technology innovation, establish industry criteria to get advantage in priority, reduce operation risk, decrease the barriers of market entry and limit competition. Since 20th century 80s, after adjusting the competition relationship, many western enterprises have chosen strategic alliance as a new organizational form, especially transnational corporations. However, the failure rate of the strategic alliance reaches 50% to 70%. Because of strategy mismatching with partners, unsuitable organizational forms, unreasonable benefits distribution etc., the stability of enterprise strategic alliance meets great challenge. Only keeping the enterprise strategic alliance stable can achieve the alliance goal. That's why the stability of enterprise strategic alliance becomes a project in need in business strategy management, and it's also the purpose of this thesis research.The study object of the thesis is the stability of enterprise strategic alliance. Theory preparation, to propose a problem model building, and to solve the problem are the train of thought. This thesis uses logical reasoning and inductive methods, qualitative and quantitative ways, normative analysis and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to do the research. The goal is to enrich the strategic alliance theory, to accelerate the carrying out of strategic alliance and to increase the stability of Chinese enterprise strategic alliance.Firstly, starting with the basic concepts, defining what enterprise strategic alliance is. Pointing out that it has four features, the intermediacy on regulation structure, strategic action, equality on relationships and dynamic state on forms. Defining the concept of the stability of enterprise strategic alliance, it is keeping the strategic alliance integrity dynamically and guarantees the fluctuation of the relationship normally during the process of the goal implementation. It has five features; they're partners'strategic goals identical, advantages complementary, organization management flexible, fluctuation normal and reasonable allocation of profits.Secondly, as to recognize the stability battier, analyze the current situation and problems about Chinese enterprise strategic alliance. Thirdly, to present two extensive analysis models, Lifecycle Model and Stability Model on Lifecycle.Fourthly, to discuss the Analytic Hierarchy Model, it's the innovative issue of the thesis. To help build Analytic Hierarchy Model, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is involved; it's a practical multi-objective decision analysis method. The assessment index system on the stability of enterprise strategic alliance has two respects, which are formed by internal and external factors. The model is verified by an example.Finally, to reveal the practical meaning of the research, that is enhancing the Chinese stability of the enterprise strategic alliance. As to develop and keep the advantage of Chinese enterprises during the intense competition, to accelerate the process of strategic alliance, four strategy tactics are proposed, they're choosing the proper alliance forms, cultivating and protecting the core competition abilities, keeping balance between cooperation and competition, building an effective risk prevention mechanism.
