A Comparison Of Theories Between Lenin's New Economy Policy And Deng Xiaoping's Reform And Opening-up

From Lenin to Deng Xiaoping,the socialist course has experienced a historical development full of setbacks,during which,there were a lot of difficulties,and also failure and success.Today,looking back on the history,as to not only reform thoughts but content,we find that Lenin's new economic policy and Deng Xiaoping's reform and opening-up have many things in common.We can't deny Deng Xiaoping had successfully inherited and developed the mind of Lenin's new economic policy.On the basis of discussing the background and significance of the subject,this article makes a full and complete summary to the subject's investigation of the theory circle.The article,adopting the comparative methods,can be divided into four parts. The first three parts respectively discuss the Lenin's new economic policies and Deng Xiaoping's reform and opening-up from the aspects of historical background,main content and base roads,to analyze the commonalities and differences between them. Form that,it can be concluded that Lenin's new economic policy is the source of Deng Xiaoping's reform and opening-up theory and Deng Xiaoping's reform and opening-up is the development of Lenin's new economic policy.The forth part sums up their reform experience.Mainly:on one hand,they both corrected the errors in traditional concept in time according to the reality,and continually innovated theory and roads of scientific socialism;on the other hand,their main methods both included: to develop the productive forces,to improve the relations of production and to consolidate the superstructure.These experiences will give us guidance to explore the succession of deepening reform and the building of socialism with Chinese characteristics.The main viewpoint of this paper is that we must adopt the retreat strategy when the "left thinking" and rash advance have arisen.It will lead to a failure of the reform when the changes of production relationship beyond the reality of material and spirit. Therefore,we must take the retreat strategy to pull the production relationship back to the actuality to meet the requirement of the productivity and the spiritual conditions, and then the reform of the production relationship will succeed.The step back is not a failure or abandonment.It is the preparation for another great advance.
