The issue of energy security is one of the focuses of attention of the international community. The research on the energy security strategy of the superpower of United States is of far-reaching significance. With the background of the strategic significance of energy security and the basic status quo of the increasingly tense international energy security, based on the nature of the development and the succession of the United States energy security and the U.S. energy security strategy after the Cold War and its external-oriented features of its basic strategy, this dissertation studies the inheritance of the core values and the evolvement of the specific contents of Bush's and Obama's Administration's energy security strategies in the twenty-first century. In terms of Bush Administration's energy security strategy, this article analyzes the major energy bills of its energy security policies and its efforts to strengthen the Strategic Petrol Reserves. At the same time, based on the analysis of Peak Oil Theory, the article comes to the conclusion that a terminal oil crisis is about to come, thus proving the energy security considerations of the Bush Administration behind its launching the war in Iraq. Meanwhile, this article points out that the latter part of the Bush administration has been accumulating the tendency for the transformation to the new energy security strategy. In terms of the new energy security strategy of the Obama Government which is with the inheritance and development of the thinking of the latter part of the Bush Administration, this article analyzes the international and domestic political and economic background of its final formation, and points out the influencing factors of the administration team and the specific policies the government has promulgated with a future impact. With the nature of integrity and unity, the Bush administration, its latter part in particular, and Obama Government's energy security strategy both have the emphasis on the development of new energy sources to different extents, with the same goal to safeguard the present and future of the United States of energy security by doing everything possible since the beginning of the twenty-first century. At the same time U.S. energy security strategy has constituted one of the cornerstones of U.S. national security. With the nature of the continuation of the succession, the United States energy security is also ever-changing with the technological, social and geopolitical developments, energy security strategy in the new century has been experiencing major changes with a fundamental way after the Obama administration came to power. Energy security strategy of the United States is not only the issue for the United States, but also the issue for the world including China. The new energy security strategy of the United States is having a positive impact on US politics and economy and also the energy security of the United States. Under the influence of the United States' promoting new energy strategy, many countries and regions have also launched a new round of new energy development, which may have a revolutionary impact on the global geopolitical pattern in the future. In the new situation, the partnership of the Sino-US new energy cooperation will be extremely useful for the two countries and the whole world. At present, the new Sino-US energy cooperation is still facing some problems, but the cooperation of new energy between the two countries is of both the necessity and feasibility. Despite the bottleneck of existing technologies and the difficulty of market acceptance and many other challenges, the new energy revolution the United States may succeed some day in the future. Then the United States may be able to resolve the "clash of civilizations" in a subtle way or the Western world may take a dominancy of the Islamic world. If the clash can be moderated, the United States can continue its status as the world's superpower, and the whole world may enjoy a relatively peaceful path of sustainable development without the conflict for the traditional energy resource.
