| In the context of economic globalization, the industrial park has become the important growth pole to support the rapid regional development. Industrial park's construction and development have made positive contributions to many aspects, such as speeding up economic development, promoting urban modernization, distributing land resources scientifically, adjusting the economical layout reasonably, improving the investment environment effectively, guiding the industry aggregation properly, and enhancing the regional energy level completely, etc.Shanghai is the most developed city and the most important industrial base in China. With the construction of "one main item, three centers", Shanghai is becoming an advanced manufacturing industry base around the world, along with the qualitative leap of industrial and spatial structures. Under the strategy of "prosperity in urban district, and strength in outskirts", all kinds of industrial parks have appeared in suburbs, among which the nine municipal-level industrial parks have become the leading force of the suburban industry for years of development. Therefore it has important theoretical and practical significance to launch a comprehensive study. This article is divided into six chapters. The research significance & object and relevant theories are proposed based on the study results on industrial parks at home and abroad in Chapter One and Two. Chapter Three recalls the evolution process of industrial parks, sums up the adjustment characteristics of industrial structure & layout, and the gradual developing characteristics of industrial parks in Shanghai since the People's Republic of China was founded, and then analyses the spatial arrangement relationship between industrial parks and central city in Shanghai. Chapter Four and Five are the key part, beginning with the priority of nine municipal industrial parks in suburban Shanghai, and the summary of their six development achievements and three dimensional effects, then follows a comparison of the nine industrial parks, pointing out the developing problems and some corresponding countermeasures. The last chapter is a summary of this paper, proposing some deficiency as well as direction of further study. This paper is a further study on the basis of the academic subject held by Shanghai Bureau of Statistics, Shanghai Leading Group Office of the Second Agriculture Census. Therefore it has two characteristics: one of which lies that the research is done by quantitative and qualitative analysis with a large amount of data collected for the subject so that the conclusion would be comprehensive and objective. The other one is that the geographic study features have been completely represented with the development performance analysis of the nine municipal industrial parks in multi-aspects of economic, industrial and social efficiency, above all, an emphasis on spatial effects. |
