Analysis On Dingxi Potato Association's Development

The Specialized Cooperative Economic Organizations of Fanners is an innovation of the rural society organizations, an important organizational forms, and booster of the rural economy development of the agricultural industrialization. It is not only a tache connecting the party and government with the broad masses of peasants and farmers, but also a bridge guiding the peasants to market.Dingxi Potato industry can not develop without the support of professional associations. As a new type of rural cooperative economic organizations of professional, Dingxi Potato Professional Association generates, grows under the government's support. As an intermediary organization, the association closely connects farmers with market, reduces market lisk, increases the peasants' income and promotes the development of Dingxi Potato industry.The paper first provides an overview of the Specialized Cooperative Economic Organizations of farmers: It's concepts, characteristics, types and linkages with the relevant organizations. In theory, it probes the interactive and interdependent relationship between the government, market and civil society. And on this base, it analyses the development process, the development status, operating mechanisms and the constraints of Dingxi Potato Professional Association.
