Effectively managements of organizations will need to shift to a new paradigm in the coming complex and dynamic environment. It points out the way for the organization through the "person" to obtain a sustainable competitive advantage. And, currently a growing number of managers of organizations recognize that the psychological resources of the staff are another important source of organizations to obtain competitive advantages. Therefore, it has become an important research topic how the development and utilization of staff psychological resources or essential factors enhance the competitive advantage of organizations. A brand-new concept, namely psychological capital, is put forward in this background. It thoroughly changed the past pattern of negatively viewing individuals. On the contrary, it is truly showed in a positive manner how a positive mentation impacts on an individual's cognition and behavior in duration of individual development and the effectiveness of enterprises and society.The importance of knowledge teams in the organizational operation is increasingly recognized by the academe and practitioners. Knowledge teams require solving complex tasks in a specific environment. This determines its core feature is an innovation. Thus, it presents higher demands for team members not only on professional skills but also in the psychological level. The development and investment of psychological capital will provide the impetus and a new way out to obtain sustainable competitive advantage for knowledge teams. Hence, this paper will research the development of knowledge teams in the psychological level, that is, the psychological capital perspective. The purpose of the research is to summarize some positive impacts and roles of the psychological capital theory for the development of knowledge teams. At the same time, hopefully, this research will come up with the effective guidance and advices of the development of knowledge-based team in our country.This paper demonstrates the positive influences of psychological capital theory on the construction and development of knowledge teams through theory and illustrations and practice experience. It points out that the psychological capital is in the status of the source of knowledge teams to enhance their competitive advantage and must be grasped as the key factor to the development of knowledge teams. At the same time, this paper, according to the core features of knowledge teams, puts forward a sort of knowledge teams development pattern of the whole and the stages, and point out that elements choice, target and emphasis of development of each stage of development pattern, and propose that the environment and technical advice of psychological capital development in the Knowledge Teams development. Finally this article puts forward practice pattern of the development of knowledge teams.
