The Impact Countermeasure Of Technical Standards On Textiles Exports In Jiangsu Province

Since 1990s,economic globalization is becoming more and more stronger.Every country decides to cut Tariff barriers and Non-tariff barriers,which is useful to the development of foreign trade of developing countries.However,in order to protect national industry,every country especially developed countries starts to find new methods to restrict on imports.Import quotas of textiles was cancelled in 2005,Jiangsu can use the advantages of low cost of textiles to develop textile industry.However, developed countries often make good use of technical standards to protect national industry and limit the import of textiles.China is a developing countries,whose technical level is behind developed countries,and it is the reason that developed countries use technical standards to restrict the export of our textiles.Textile industry is one of the most important industries in Jiangsu,which makes contributions to local economy.However,the exports of textiles in Jiangsu are often impacted by the developed countries,technical standards.Textile enterprises in Jiangsu should make a correct attitude to find the best way to develop the Textile industry.This article fist overviews the concept and theory of technical standards,which makes the author research the questions of technical standards correctly.Second,this article overviews the basic characteristics of technical standards and the influence on our export trade,so we can make it clear to find how technical standards influent on our export trade.Third,this article analyzes the present situation of export trade in Jiangsu province,and this article confirms the practical significance of this research by the positive analysis of technical standards and export trade.The last,the article gives the suggestions of how to improve the development of our export trade,which is useful for the export of our textiles to improve the ability of acrossing technical barriers.
