As the rapid growth of electricity consumption,the construction of power station is speeded,and they are being put into production step by step,because of the limited capacity of the electricity grid,such the unfitted grid has been the barrier for the electricity supply,and brings huge challenge to the development of the grid.So it is very time for speeding the grid construction and development.So there is a new development tide of the power station to meet the increasing demand of the electricity.In addition,the new technology applied in the power grid has been reached the new height,such as the ultra high voltage transmission;far away distance transmission,huge transmission capacity and the AC-HVDC electricity transmission technologies.So the grid construction requires the better quality materials.In order to improve the grid and start the new huge grid construction,the whole nation put a lot of money into the purchase of the grid materials.Therefore, the strategic relationship between the material management companies and the suppliers is more and more important.And that is the point,how could a materials management company evaluate and choose a supplier among many suppliers,it is an important point to build a nice relationship with the suppliers;this issue is a focus question for the grid company.This article begin with the domestic and foreign supplier relations and the present evaluation situation and the question,which is based on supplier evaluation and choice theories,China's power grid material supplier evaluation system is studied,with a view to enterprises of China's electric power industry to better evaluate and select suppliers to provide a certain degree of theoretical support and practical reference.This thesis is based on the existing research results and following the certain basic ideas,combined with Competitive environment of the power industry and the characteristics of the power grid materials supplier,in this thesis,a more proper evaluation index system is proposed based on three aspects related to the suppliers. Such factors with the supplier evaluation of products and services,supplier self-evaluation and supplier evaluation of cooperation capability included.There are 24 indexes in the evaluation system;these indexes could meet the demands of grid materials in China.And then,In comparing with the various supplier evaluation model and methods,which is based on the advantages and disadvantages,choose a more practical grid material supplier evaluation method,which combines with Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) and entropy weight coefficient method.In the end,the comprehensive model is proposed based on the combination of AHP and the entropy weight coefficient method.In order to put the model into the practice with the evaluation index system for the grid material suppliers,take the cable suppliers evaluation in Northwest Electric Power Group International Co,Ltd as an example, the model could be proved in the empirical study.The grid material supplier evaluation is practical in our country;the evaluation system is efficient in the comprehensive model combined with AHP and the entropy weight coefficient method.
