Although manufacturing industry creates wealth for human being, it is the main source of resource depletion,ecology deterioration and environmental pollution. In order to solve the increasingly serious problems related to resources and environment, Teachers have proposed the concept of green products. The comprehensive evaluation of green products is critically important in manufacturing industry. Establishing green product evaluation indices, setting good evaluation processes and selecting the appropriate evaluation methods are its important part.This thesis deeply studies the meaning of green product and theory of a product life cycle. Then it introduces the effects of each green product life cycle stages on the environment. Based on them, we establish a green product evaluation index system; use an entropy weight method, analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and entropy weight-AHP method to calculate the weight of each index. At last, In order to evaluate and verify the three methods, they are applied to the evaluation of green cars. The evaluation results are in detail analyzed.
