With the rapid development of social economy and the improvement of people's living standard, travelling has become a primary need in people's life in resent years.Especially with a brand-new marketing pattern provided by the development of modem information technology, society and economic information, tourism marketing has changed its enterprise-based marketing mode into destination-based one.Aiming at some problems currently arising in tourism marketing, this thesis thinks that tourism marketing is not merely a simple issue of technology, three sides-technology, management and society-should be involved in it.At the same time,ecology-oriented and culture-oriented travelling modes are gradually accepted by people with enhancement of environmental protection consciousness. As a result, tourism marketing simply at technical level is difficult to draw tourists' attention.Only with organic combination and mutual coordination of the three sides,a due effect can be achieved.Meizhou,as the capital of Hakka in the world, enjoys special favours of nature in social culture. In recent years, the development of economy in Meizhou has been continuously increasing, especially wide attention paid on environmental protection and ecology, which will surely bring Meizhou a new development opportunity.Depending on its unique landscapes and historical and cultural advantages,Meizhou should develop ecotourism and cultural tourism with Hakka's characteristics.Taking these as footing, this thesis employs system theory, analysis on evidences, and theoretical knowledge relevant to marketing and tourism marketing to analyze tourism resources in Meizhou, and puts forward applicable marketing strategies on the development of tourism resources in Meizhou.
