Research On The Competitiveness Of Electronic And Information Industry In Huizhou

Electronic and information industry has become one of Guangdong,and even China's principal industries.It's industry competitiveness reflects a country or a region's general economic power.After more than 20 years' development,electronic and information industry has become one of Huizhou's principal industries.Huizhou was granted the title of the National Production Base for Electronic and Information Industry and the National Industry Area (Huizhou) of Audio-radio Product.In order to enforce Huizhou's position as national production base for electronic and information industry,Huizhou has to do a deeply research of its electronic and information industry in order to establish a proper develop strategy.This paper's main contribution is having built a evaluation index system for regional electronic and information industry,and use this evaluation index system to evaluate the competitiveness of the electronic and information industry in Huizhou.This paper applies related knowledge of management,economics and statistics,and combines qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis,using empirical analysis to analyse the competitiveness of Huizhou's electronic and information industry.Firstly,the paper analyses the national background for the development of Huizhou's electronic and information industry,and then builds a evaluating index system for regional electronic and information industry based on former people's researches on regional industries. This paper uses qualitative analysis and empirical analysis to analyse current competitive situation of Huizhou's electronic and information industry.At last,the analysis result shows that the basic competitiveness of Huizhou's electronic and information industry is relatively strong;industry structure is too simple;industry cluster effect is weak;industrial benefit is low; industrial creative ability is weak;the government pay much attention to this industry;foreign investment arranges forefront in Guangdong province.
