Study On Formation Mechanism Of The Agricultural Industrial Cluster Based On Fractal Theory

Agricultural industry cluster is an important direction of agricultural development and a new agricultural organizational model.Although at present,the existing agricultural industry cluster studies are very simple,it is undeniable that agricultural production activities gathering in a certain regions which have the characteristics of scale and specialization have played the role of adding fuel to the flames,which put forward a new idea in order to solve the three rural problems.So,what is the dynamic of agricultural industry cluster? What is the factors affecting the rise and fall of the agricultural industry cluster? With these questions,based on the fractal theory,this paper studies the evolution of agricultural industry cluster,which is comprised by following five chapters.Chapter one introduced the topics and its background,make a note of the research questions,research framework,research methods,data sources and the choice of research object,and have a review of the existing agricultural industry cluster studies.The second part has an overview of industry cluster theories,including the industrial clusters' content,features and principles of self-organization,and introduced the fractal theory and methodology.The third part analyzes the formation mechanism of agricultural industry cluster, based on DLA model,explaining the dynamics,influencing factors and characteristics. The conclusions are following:(1) Agricultural industry cluster has scale invariance or self-similarity in its evolution path,level of structure and accumulation effect.The formation process of agricultural industry cluster is the cohesion and diffusion process of DLA Group,and the industrial agglomeration core which has attraction cohesion is the dynamic of agricultural industry cluster generation and development.(2) The power of attraction about industrial agglomeration core determines the whether the industry cluster could form,and there is a threshold.(3) In the generating process of agricultural industry cluster,there are three factors affecting the power of attraction of industrial agglomeration,which are entrepreneurial spirit of seed enterprises,the ability of neighboring businesses to follow,imitate and learn,as well as the external factors including the geographical location,historical conditions,the economic base,national policies law and regulations.(4) The cluster fractal dimension is the main feature value to determine the prosperity or decline of cluster.When it is less than 1,which means the cluster is developing to the positive direction,to the contrary,the clusters to the negative direction.The forth part takes flower industrial cluster in Yanling County and carries out fractal analysis,getting the characteristics of flower industrial cluster development.The last chapter concludes some main conclusions,and puts forward some shorting and the orientation to further study.
